Yeah, most of the ones I got to know fairly well I met at the Sugar Creek horse
auction on Fridays. I had one fellow who, knowing what I was looking for, would
spot horses, age them, and tell me about them. Got four nice Arab mares that
way, who had basicly been born and turned out- cleaned up their feet, worked
with them and trained them up to green broke, and sold them for a nice profit-
saved them from the meat man, too ;-)

Others I met through my insurance business- yes, Terry, I was stubborn enough,
and good enough, to sell Amish folk accident and health disability insurance ;-)

And, of course, I knew my neighbors.

As I said, pretty good folks, although some of the Old Amish can be a bit of a
pain- even the other Amish think so ;-)
