[TheForge] Wet Film

Take it to a professional lab, not your regular one hour place. If the film
has dried after getting wet, it will be stuck together, but soaking in
warmish water will usually release it. It then can be loaded in the
appropriate tank and developed.

Good luck, and oh yes, I too want to see that photo. Crappies up in this
part of the world usually don't go more than a few ounces.

Subject: [TheForge] Wet Film

Anyone got a tip or two on recovering 35mm roll film that got wet? I went
fishing yesterday and caught what just might be a new Alabama state record
crappie. I didn't know at the time the record was 17" long and 4# 9 oz.
This one measured 17 1/2" long has a 16 1/2" circumference and weight right
at 5#. We took pictures and I released it. Now I discover that the film got
wet during the heavy rains while we were fishing (no lightning).
Wally-World informed me it was wet and that they couldn't do any thing. Any
help here would be MOST appreciated.... as this is the only proof I
have......
