John Caretti is a blacksmith from Virginia, one of those who has been at it 
almost as long as I've been alive.  If you visit the Junkyard 
(www.keenjunk.com/junkyard.htm), he's "John C", and one of the greatest 
proponents of The True Path.  Which basically sounds an awful lot like what 
Francis Whitaker kept promoting...has nothing to do with style, be it 
traditional or contemporary, but rather how you do it.

I probably spelled his name wrong.  Its one of those Italian names, like 
mine, which most likely isn't spelled like it sounds.
