Scott,
I am in Cincinnati and actually I am a Pepsi Man, no coke here.....;-)
Sorry had to chime in on that. I use a propane forge right now, although
my shop already has the vast majority of a coal forge built in. All I 
need to do is
build a pan, get a firepot, do a little cutting and welding I will have 
a full blown
built in coal forge with waste heat recovery fins on the stack with a 
fan to help heat the shop
in the winter.
