     As far as I know, the Mountain Preserves Arsonist is sitting in
jail, I suppose. New Times (the local free 'alternate' non-mainsteam
newspaper) interviewed him while the police were actively searching for
him, bringing up all sorts of interesting issues of free speech,
protecting one's sources, etc. Then the police caught him. 
He is/was a mountain biker who enjoyed riding his mountain bicycle along
trals through the deserts and mountains here in Phoenix and it's
outskirts. He didn't like the houses that millionairs were building in
the deserts and mountains, blocking the trails and spoiling the view, so
he burned them down. He might be out on bail now, I haven't heard
anything about him in quite a while. Hope I've got my facts straight.
