Let's put it this way...my Regular NC farrier's anvil, only 5 pounds lighter 
(which sees a lot of heavy work), was $198 brand new, no work needed.  With a 
Diamond brand hardy, cost was $212.  The hardy seems to have gone up in price 
since then...the anvil hasn't, they still sell 'em at that price.

 This morning I came across an old anvil in a flea market.
 It is a Trenton and the claimed weight is 75 pounds.
 It is heavily rusted. All edges are severely rounded - say a quarter-inch
 radius. The asking price is $225.
 
 It is smaller than I would like and it looks like it would take a lot of
 work to get into shape.
 
 What say you; reasonable price or not >>
