Yeah. Another reason I'm glad I'm female is the lack of those dangly bits
you gentlemen are so proud of. And, as sensitive as they are, I'm
perpetually amazed you don't protect them more. In horseshoeing school, one
of the instructors nearly lost those dangly bits when he was going to show
me how it was done with a horse which had just jerked its foot from between
my legs, giving me a nasty finger laceration from the horseshoe nail I had
just pounded in but hadn't clinched yet. He grabbed the horse's foot, put it
between his legs to clinch over, and the horse did the same thing to him,
only he wasn't wearing his chaps, and it ripped out the crotch of his jeans,
including his underwear.
My ex, too, used to think it was sexy for him to make me breakfast on Sunday
morning, while he was nude. He didn't understand why I kept asking him to
put on an apron, or why, after that nervous breakdown, I was no longer in
the mood. Would have been fine, if he were setting up toast and cereal and
fruit, or something, but he always wanted to make bacon and eggs....No, he
wasn't a smith ;-)
And, what REALLY amuses me, is how protective many men get about a woman's
breasts. Yes, they're a bit sensitive, but nothing like what you guys deal
with. Hit me there as hard as you like, and you may knock me on my can and
anger me, but I won't be curled up in a foetal position trying to vomit my
toenails out. Took women in the SCA a long time to be allowed to fight with
the guys for that reason, and they still try to make us observe special
chest armor rules.
Phlip, who used to sing bass lines in a boy's choir because none of their
voices had changed yet....
