I made an apron out of cotton duck. It's full length with a split up the
middle. The leg bottoms are loosely tied around back with Velcro. I wear
workboots, but the apron covers the tops.

This way I can wear shorts and even go topless (sorry, no halter :-) A
pedestal fan does a nice job cooling me off in hot weather.
