Spencer. With all appropriate tooling/jigs.
This is my third T.H.
Did a workshop ( 16 in 2 days ) @ Choo-Choo six years ago.
Spencer swing arm. Well built , but I sold it to Gichner.
Had a friend build one, and still have it as it is soooooo
smooth for the chisel work I do.
Am trying to making the new inline smooth now. 
I adjusted the "head" on the swing arm twice a year , just for drill.
so the inline's taller throat won't be too much advantage.

Don't anybody out there think you are going to move more
metal w/ a T.H. It is more tiring to jump on that treadle
than to hand hammer. You thought it was a joke about Clay"s
right leg?
