It's not cheap for services you should already be getting with your
membership.  I agree with George, this is an obvious stonewall effort.
It seems this group's leadership has taken lessons well from certain
past elected officials.

      "It's not a crime if I can keep you from getting the facts that
make it a crime. The resources I'll use to keep you from learning the
truth are not mine, in fact it is money you sent me and I'll out spend
you."

   That's what I hear when I read Treasurer Hightower's letter.
Twenty years ago any hack prosecutor would have had a hey day with
this.  Now it's acceptable.
