[TheForge] patriotic blacksmithing again

Thanks for the clarification, my aim is acute, from any
position....however I never take a shot that isn't on a clearly
identified target in a clear enough setting to be sure of a safe hit.
Someone coming at me from across the room with a fist or knife is not
a hard target to hit, that is where I actually draw the line. I can't
imagine taking a shot at someone who is not an immediate threat to me
or others that I would feel obligated to protect.
Long distance shots at human beings are generally done in combat
situations under orders, not in self defense.

And, yes, I would pull a gun out at a fist fight. I've never
started a fight, have ended a few and broken up a few, watched a few.
Usually the fist fights I've seen were drunks or really illiterate
people who couldn't make their feelings known with words. Before
firearms the biggest and strongest animals among men were rulers. I
am now of a compromised physical ability that makes it unreasonable to
engage in fist fights, I carry.

As far as I'm concerned, you couldn't get me mad enough to punch
you. However, I have been mad enough to want to kill someone, but
not over a girl, a beer, a sporting event.....
