Dan, Great aquisition........... I've had a jet saw for 14 years
now and it never gives me any problems.
A side note is I've been buying my bimetal matrix saw blades from
McMaster Carr. They work well. Anyone have other places to buy good
quality blades?
The blades that McMaster are selling are the Sanvik line. I've also
had good luck with the Starrett and Lenox manufactured blades. I've tried
the vari pitch tooth series and they cut really fast(6/10 or 10/14 is what
I've used so far)............not good for thin stock though.
I've been using these blades dry, but the mister should give you
much greater blade life.
Did you build the Sheppard or Spencer version of the in-line
treadle?? Happy with it so far? Find it better than the old swing arm
style?
