OK, here's a thought ... non-political though.....
Now for that candle holder ..... Have you ever twisted angle iron? say
1/2"x1/2"x1/8" or 3/16"? It makes a nice and different pattern when
twisted, complete with an elliptical hole up through the center. It makes
a nice looking support. With the hole it can be electrified, or even
threaded to attach a candle cup or electric lamp socket. With this you
don't have "the same ol' candle holder" in your inventory.
One of the interesting things about twisting angle iron is that when you
start it seems to get all cockeyed and weird looking. But just when you
think there's no hope .... it straightens out all by itself. This happens
when the opposing legs finally touch each other.
So, get some 1/2" or 3/4" or 1" angle iron and start twisting. From there
let your imagination take you to different candle holder ideas.
I've never twisted angle iron where the two sides were different, so I
can't tell you what you'd get from that.
