	No, they were developed not for actual use, but as a deterrent.
	That philosophy appears to be waning in favor of one that will
	see your children growing a couple extra heads.

	Do you have any clue as to how nasty radiation can be?  Have you
	ever seen its effects?  I've only seen it on film and that is all
	I would ever need to know about it.  I spent an entire semester
	in a class with Dr. Mishio Kaku that went through the history of
	the nuclear industry, both commercial and military.  I learned 
	things about this stuff that would scare the pants off of any
	fool.  We saw all manner of footage, some of it once classified,
	on accidents and the effects the materials involved have on human
	flesh.

	And what shall you do when the fallout circles the globe and
	settles in the hair of your kids?  I think you will sing a very
	different tune if, heaven forbid, that day ever comes.  It's so
	very easy to say "kill them all" until the fruits of the killing
	come home to roost.  Then the proverbial gnashing of teeth begins.
