    To George or anyone that may know,
    I was looking at the vise on the TMS page,  "vise of Jacobo de
Ferraris, dated 1588".  Can anyone tell me if the figures which
decorate this vise were castings or were they forged/carved iron?  I
am very interested in learning to do iron figures, but do not know
where to get information on this style of work.  Thanks,
