     I can't think of anybody who's ashamed of being a patriot. For
many, it may be a private matter they don't feel like going around
making a lot of noise about, the same as the many people who go to
church regularly who don't go around making a lot of noise about God. As
for Pres. Bush and his little circle, I sort of doubt they're really
going to wreck the country by making all these new laws designed to
thwart terrorism. I hate to see any of our rights stepped on, like the
Freedom of Information Act, but I'm hoping that 'extreme times call for
extreme measures', and we'll be better off for it. If not, the people's
voices will be heard and we'll eventually get back to letting crazy guys
learn to fly planes & skip the landing part.
     On a blacksmithing note- Is anyone else feeling nervous as hell
when their forge is lit? My shop is in my back yard, and while I've done
everything I can think of to fireproof everything, after every heat, and
even during, I find myself checking out the windows to see if the lawn
is on fire. Cripes!
