i would bet that whenever the new owner of the 500lb anvil is done with it he will be able to get his money back. they just don't make them like that anymore.

as far as garden anvils i have seen none in my corner of southeast minnesota, western wisconsin and northeast iowa. i did see one down in carpentersville, illinois (years ago) at the anvil club which was/is a local fraternal club (i think).

if you pay the price you can do whatever you want with it.
