[TheForge] abana bashing isn't productive, an open review might be

Nothing needs to be 'bashed'.
Nothing needs to be exempt from oversight, review or comment either.
Politics is human nature, unfortunately so is misuse of office,
duplicity and the occasional ethics challenge.
A serious review of the actions taken by members of the abana board
cannot be a negative thing.....so long as
nothing negative has been done. A serious review of abana's conferences
cannot be a bad thing....so long as it is fair, comprehensive and
honesty reported.

Questions about finances, organization, auctions or bidding conducted
by abana's board are part of the oversight any member of an organization
may deem to undertake. The reaction of board members seems to be
proportional to the degree they wish not to be reviewed. Nothing to
hide, nothing to fear.
