Yeah, so the benighted Northern European Barbarians thought, when tomatoes
came over from the New World ;-) It would truly have been an exotic poison,
considering the Romans had no way to get to it. Besides, the Romans did
almost all of their conquests on foot- that's why the roads were there- for
the Roman Legions. And I'll admit, they helped Jesus to learn how to walk on
water, but I don't believe they used the information themselves ;-)
