diecast zinc, i never broke one

Tandy's stamps are specificly NOT the ones desired. They're 2D, not 3D for
one thing, and they don't make them small enough. There are enough folks on
the Medieval leather List, that this could be a nice sideline for someone.
What's trying to be recreated here are some of the leather embossing
patterns for covering large areas, and a 3D is what's needed. I have gotten
a couple of private responses, and what I'm going to do is collect them and
collate them and send them back over to the Leather List tomorrow. That way,
they can discuss what they want in more detail- so far, from the one guy who
answered, there are 4 or 5 more interested.

I know how I'd do it, if I had the tools and the skills necessary- upset a
piece of steel, carve what I wanted into it, upset a second piece, soften it
enough to force a negative in it from the first piece, then chrome or nickle
plate it. But, I lack the equipment at the moment, although I've mave myself
a couple of custom carving tools.

So, keep letting me know, guys. The more folks we have respond, the better
the chances are that we have a happy match of customer and smiths ;-)
