Let me put it this way. Rob sold at least three anvils for one of the
tailgaters just standing around explaining how happy he was with his
like type anvil. I very nearly regretted listening to him tell me what
great swedge blocks were across the way...but they ran out before I came
back. So Rob is standing next to the exhibit and people start coming
through asking questions--in less than five minutes he has a complete
talk on the exhibit, the work that went into it, the original find, the
difficulties archaeologists have with farmers digging stuff up (it was
over that way...), the problems blacksmiths have with archaeologists
descriptions...
No, it wasn't officially scheduled. Be extremely cautious of Rob ever
trying to sell you something.
