Funny that you mention Albert Paley...  No, I'm not close to him
(I'm in NJ at the moment), but a few years ago I learned that Paley
is one of my master's xlosest and oldest friends.  We were at a gallery
exhibition of Judaica in Soho and Professor Bernstein, the man who
taught me silversmithing, was one of the exhibitors.  Albert Paley had
a fabulous iron menorah in that very Paley-style of his.  When I
commented on it, Bernstein told me he's been friends with "Al" for 30
years.

Anyhow, why do you ask?

PS: How small a world it is; I dropped into a recruiter's office this
morning and began chatting.  Turns out the woman was an ex-colleague of
my mom's at Amersham Biosciences.  Small, funny world we live in.
