Father always said to subtract the thickness of the metal for each 90* of
bend.

This usually works pretty well . . . . . . more or less. <grin> Soooooo I
fudge by starting at one end, setting the length of the straight by how I
clamp it in the vise and proceed to the end, then trim any excess.
