[TheForge] Tumblers

Dan; Here is a link to a site that Gen Olson set up on tumbling
http://www.metalsmith.org/edu/equipment/tumblers.htm#3link and my tumbler is
at this link. http://www.metalsmith.org/edu/equipment/tumblers/foster.htm
It is run off of my wood turning lathe.
An interesting point though is that when I built my tumbler, I was using a
propane forge for most of my work, but since moving to coal, I have had very
little use for my tumbler, as scale just does not seem to be the problem it
was before. Not sure what the reason is, but now all it takes is a couple
seconds with a wire wheel and all is well, where before the damm scale would
not come off for love nor money, and that is why the tumbler was
built....and it works too.

All the best

I have been having problems with the drive mechanism on my tumbler. Could
some of you kind people post pictures of your tumblers on the photopage?

Thanks

Dan
