I know you've gotten a few replies but, most hardware stores carry thread cutting oil. Ray's suggestion of Tap Magic is good as well. There are also some environmentally friendly tapping fluids on the market that work well. Most if not all industrial suppliers carry them. The only thing to be careful of is that some are for specific materials (steel, aluminum, stainless, etc.).
