Only if she's having trouble breathing, dear- and in your case, I'd suggest
checking your deoderant first ;-O
Actually, what the problem is, is that a lot of the ladies wear tight,
push-up bodices, the laced ones you tend to see in all the schlock movies,
on the tavern wenches. A friend of mine researched them, and found that in
SCA period, they were only worn by ha'-penny whores around the waterfronts,
but none the less, they've been adopted by many of the clueless because they
think they're sexy and period- most period garb is very concealing because
of the heavy influence of the Church.
None the less, this gives us a large number of women who wear them, and
they're very constricting, enough so that removing them suddenly will cause
a sudden blood pressure drop, enough so that the lady could be pushed over
the line into physiological shock, or worse, so we try to make sure they get
released slowly. When you consider that the reasons for removing them at all
include breathing and heat stress difficulties, you can understand that we
don't want to make things worse. "First, do no harm".
