It does no such thing.  Klez is a windows virus.  It infects windows
executables, which are structured very differently from those found on Linux
systems (I won't speak for Macs - I don't use them).

Klez exploits a vulnerability inherent in Outlook Express, and other windows
e-mail clients that support windows scripting (Active X, and "Windows Scripting
Host").
