Baloney.
That's like saying, "Sue the government for not protecting us from every
idiot that wants to smash our mailboxes or steal our chain saws." Virus
writers are similar vandals.
All Bill Gates did was make it possible for the unwashed masses to use
computers. He didn't promise to hold our hands or put bandaids on our hurt
fingers while we use them.

I'd like to put in a word for AVG antivirus. I've been using their free
version and have not had any problems at all with viruses. This is after
running Norton and having it act up constantly, refuse to run complete
scans, let viruses through, and on and on and on...
I've run Housecall when I knew I had an active virus and I knew where it was
and what it was doing, and guess what? Housecall was delighted to tell me
that I had a clean system! Don't trust it.
