I am planing to make a sheet metal weather vane for the shop, and was wondering if there was a consensus as to the thickness of material to use. I was thinking of using 16ga. and was wondering if anyone in the group had made a similar item and what they might have used. All suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance John C.
