Ryan,
As Bruce said, work smarter not harder and power equipment is easy on the
back. My only caution is to watch your pickup points because of the
relatively narror footprint.
You can easily move this much weight on rollers if you have a fairly smooth
floor. The rollers can be steel pipe or rollers made of wood or steel. I
moved a 1,500lb copy lathe by myself using 1-1/2" solid rollers.
It is best if you have 3 rollers but you can make due with 2. Using a
pinch bar, pry up the leading edge and get a roller to the middle of the
weight. You can then add the second roller under the front and you can
start pushing. Before you roll off your first roller, add a new one in
front and start rolling onto it. To turn, place your rollers at a slight
angle (same direction) and the whole thing will turn slightly as you roll.
I had a tilt trailer and was able to load/unload my copy lathe by myself
using a block and tackle with the rollers.
If you do move it on rollers, take it easy because of the height vs small
footprint. I move my Little Giant on rollers and I have to make sure I
don't tip it over.
Good luck.
Walt
