The total weight of a #1 Champion belt driven Hercules power hammer is 1375 
pounds.  If the hammer is in a difficult location you could skid it out by 
yourself to a better location to pick it up with some type of lifting 
apparatus.  Work smarter not harder.  Find someone with a front end loader of 
forklift.  Even a (wrecker) tow truck would be better then busting your 
bal_s.  It might cost you a few bucks to hire someone but the money you'll 
spend will be worth the trouble you'll save.
