I wish it were as easy as saying that x money goes for the magazines and
x goes for the bullsh** and can I just get the magazines and not the
bullsh**. Your money does other things, such as the library and
scholarships and underwriting of regional events. The B/S organization
of Ark. had a snafu at the 11th. hour for an event they held and abana
made a grant that allowed the event to proceed, an event that maybe only
2 or 3 abana members were involved with. I am not in any way denying
that the past 100,000 words of discussion are not about real concerns,
nor that the board should not be held accountable for all it's actions
and omissions, but abana does more for US ALL than seems to be
recognized in a lot of the perspective presented here.

Dave, thank you for mentioning Irony, which, by the way is $ 35 for 12
issues, not 4. And thanks to our wonderful, efficient postal system,
Irony will go up to $37 per year soon.
