I have to agree with you on this. I saw George in St. Louis a few years ago
at a BAM OctoberFaust and was impressed with what I learned just watching
him and talking to him for a few hours. Things were kind of slow with rainy
and generally crummy weather, and I spent most of the day there talking with
him. I was really impressed, and in a favorable way. I learned more about
repousse (which is what he was working on) that day than I have ever before
or since. I even came home and tried some for a customer. I believe that
the best and most productive thing you can do is to provide motivation for
someone else, and George did that for me.
