[TheForge] charcoal firepots

One reason why a side draft might be preferable for charcoal, is that the
charcoal is quite light compared to coal.  My one experience with charcoal,
showed why an up-draft forgepot is less desirable.   I was trying to see how
much heat I could get with charcoal.  Using my Champion hand crank blower, I
was cranking progressively faster and faster,  and actually lifted the
entire burning mass of charcoal straight up in the air.   That was one day I
was especially glad to have a dirt floor.  I would guess that with a side
draft, your are less likely to have that kind of an experience.
