[TheForge] RE: [The Forge] Gee Look ABANA again

While all tis ABANA discussion makes for some mighty
interesting reading and it does give you something to think
about, this is not why I subscribed to The Forge. I thought
this was a forum for the exchange of ideas, helping each
other in finding tools, materials,answering technical questions,
etc. pertaining to blacksmithing, not for the sole purpose of
dicussing the politics of the ABANA board.

If we want to put this thing to rest, here is my idea of what
must be done.

1- Find a finacial backer to cover the intial costs, which will be
    for printing and mailing.

2- Procure the membership list from ABANA.

3-Mail out letters requesting donations (don't forget we have to
   specify the amount we want donated, that is the proper wat
    to do it this day and age.

4-We need a name for our organization and fund. Lets see------
    Ah yes----Here we go---- "What the heck is going on with the
    ABANA board?

5-We then send out preprinted forms to all ABANA members to
    sign and send to each individual ABANA board member. This
    form will include George's questions and request a response
    from the board. If they do not choose to respond on The Forge,
    as everyone on here is not an ABANA member, they could re-
    spond in the Anvils Ring. ( someone will have to inform me of   
     their response, as I have not renewed my membership to ABANA.

6-Of course to begin with we will have to elect a board of directors---
    Oh Damn!!!!!!!!    HERE WE GO AGAIN !!!!!!

Oh well, I thought it was going to be a good idea. :^), :^)_____
