Why would you want to use it until you get your Little Giant running?  Why 
not keep the Champion and get rid of the Little Giant.  If the hammer is made 
by Champion Blower and Forge it is a Hercules "Patented" hammer and it is not 
50 pounds.  Champion Blower and Forge Hercules "Patented" hammers were not 
made with 50# rams.  It is either a number 0 30# or number 1 65# hammer.    
If the hammer is actually a 50# hammer, it could be a Beaudry Champion.  If 
that is the case, it is perhaps a better find than you suspect.
