Hi,
Last comment...until ABANA Treasurer answers/fails-to-answer the
Priority Mail he has had for a while now.
The "if & apparent" caveats are necessary both to be fair (there may
be a coincidence here, like I said....) AND because the sitting ABANA
Board sent me a registered, official and threatening letter (2 pages
worth), less than a year ago, written by the Board's current Secretary
(whose day job is as a lawyer) trying to comp ell me to shut-up.
The Board's ongoing threat of legal action toward me makes 'couching' a
prudent step. Plus, frankly, I would like to see reform, not conflict
within ABANA. It is the conflict causing abuse of office I want to see
ended....not careers. Heck, for some on the Board, being a "Director of
ABANA" is all the self-worth and identity they seem to have.
As to "ifs":
The emails from Jim McCarty, Clare Yellin and D Steigler were not "ifs".
I supplied them.
The Board ratified Minutes of the 2000 Flagstaff Conference Board
meeting (not available on the ABANA site last time I looked) state
clearly who said what. I referenced those hidden Minutes.
The quote about the $25,000 "saved", by Publications Committee
Chairperson Steigler is in the unavailable minutes of that 2000 board
meeting.
Those Minutes were reviewed and voted on for approval by the ABANA
Board.
Look up Motion # 10. This is the publications vote in at the Summer
conference board meeting. The vote occurred one-half year before Mr
Fiorini accepted, and gave to Doug Learn, the bid package..."too late"
for consideration.
Look up the Publications Committee Report. (Flagstaff ABANA Board
Meeting Official Minutes) This states the reasons (money saved :
"$25,000 in fiscal 2001")
Verify the McCarty package bid submission info and many other relevant
points I have cited with Mr Scott Cotten, Biltmore Press, Asheville NC.
I also cited former ABANA President Mueller, who has copies of all of
the documents.
Note that a former Board member went, on this forum, from "no, I did
not" to "yes, I did" upon revelation of a FedEx receipt which I inferred
existed. (It does...)
Most simply....ask the current Board; "Did ABANA save $25,000 in fiscal
2001, from changing Publications contractors"?
Ask ABANA Internet board Committee Person, Mr Dave Mudge, to simply post
the entire minutes of that Flagstaff ABANA Board of Directors Meeting.
Dave Mudge should be able to get that info out quickly, the other
Minutes are there.
Anyhow, pardon the 'if', but 'if' the ABANA Board would
answer...................
