I am thinking about getting a fork truck for the shop. I have plenty of 
room for one and I do not have a crane. I am starting to work on larger 
sculptures and they don't move themselves.

I was thinking I would be better off with an electric unit for the 
following reasons:

    * No exhaust fumes in the shop.
    * No propane tank handling or gasoline storage concerns indoors.
    * Less potential for not running when I need it
    * Less mechanical maintenance required
    * REALLY CHEAP on the used market

CONS:

    * Cannot charge near any igition source 
    * Regular expense for running battery charger
    * High expense for battery maintenance - when needed
    * Not as much beef as an internal combustion unit

Any feedback?
