This mess is my fault and I apologize. I should have either offered the
book to RW in a private email or I should have made it clear that I meant to
sell to anyone on theForge. The result of this ambiguity has been to bring
a note of contention to what is usually a very genteel group. I regret my
clumsiness.
It was however my intention to sell the book to the first offer. This was
Dan Scheid and the book is sold to him. RW, ( I don't know your name) I
can only say that I too would be PO'ed if I were treated this way. It's the
nasty end of the stick. Again, I apologize. I know it's only a few dollars
but unfairness always rankles.
I didn't care for the book. This is partly due to a misleading title - the
book is really about designing not drawing. I thought I was buying a book
about pencil work that would teach me to draw like Jerry Hoffman :).
However, the book is not without merit and others might find it quite
useful.
I will thumb through the book once more and post a longer review at another
time.
