What I would like to see is a "Projects" area similar to "iForge" on
Anvilfire.com. Yes, actually I HAVE offered content (I offered "How-To"
instructions for a medieval chandelier I made) but later changed my mind
during the whole ABANA political, "brew-hah-ha" over the expulsion of the
FABA chapters. If even half the rumors are true about that incident ABANA
is not an organization I want to be affiliated with at this time.
>It is unfair to compare the ABANA site to others that are NOT non-profit.
>ABANA has one paid employee/webmaster/everything-rolled-into-one person
>where some other sites may have full-time webmasters. Some other sites
>sell advertising where ABANA has a very small portion of the budget
>dedicated
>to the web site.
BINGO! This is EXACTLY why I made the comments about timely
updates. Since I was unaware that the "want ad" system was able to update
itself I was concerned that a single webmaster (whom I was assuming was
probably a volunteer) would be able to keep up.
