Chris, 

I am chuckling over here.  The oldtools
list is one of those I was thinking of
when I posed this question in the first
place. The other one was the
metalshapers list. I know that there is
at least one other theforge member on
that list. In both places, if anybody
tried turning the list into their own
personal store front they would get
slapped down pretty fast.

There are people on this list who have
the time and enjoy doing the auction
sale thing. It would benefit us who do
not, to have ready access to their
finds. What I had in mind was someone
posting something like: "I've posted
picks of hammers at FS PICS" The picture
would be noted with the sellers email
and location. The dickering and
discussion could get done on a personal
level.
