Andy, this project is a fireplace grate with 2 Airedale heads forged from 1
1/2 " square that will be put on the front as log holders. I finished the
heads yesterday. I still need to attach the heads and the 3/4" cross
members that make the rectangle a grate. The feet, cross members and heads
will be fixed using 1/4" mild steel dowels that will be shrink fitted to the
12 x 16" rectangle. I believe it will turn out OK. I do not have a digital
camera but if I can get a decent picture, I'll try to post it on our
photosite when finished.
