I agree. I was very happy that my daughter was lucky enough to have shop
teachers who are young enough to have the energy try to incorporate todays
CAD/CAM technology into her class.

The change from "Shop" class to "Industrial Arts" to "Technology Education"
is nothing. Try "Domestic, Career, and Consumer Sciences Class" for "Home
Economics".
The only problem I have is pointing them to a college

Try SUNY @ Oswego. Both of my daughter's Tech teachers graduated from
their program within the past 6 years or so. And I believe a couple of the
Tech teachers at the school I work for did as well.
