FYI... In Ft. Wayne Indiana, 35 years ago or so, they started calling
"shop" and all the related "lesser classes" "industrial arts". In
fact I think they had a class called I.A. that was not as hands on or
tool oriented as shop that you could elect in the 7 & 8th grades.
