I have just finished a welding course at our local technical college.
The order of difficulity was tig, stick and a close tie between flux core
mig and oxy/act. I will take mig and oxy/act over tig and stick anytime.
One of the beauty parts about oxy/act, with thin sheet metal, you can weld
without a rod and you can even use a coat hanger as a rod. An oxy/atc was
the first outfit I bought.
