mike,
your message on anvil aquisition pretty much covers the territory. i especially like your comment about "seed anvils". this has sure been the case with me and leg vices.
i like a good deal as well as anyone but if paying a high price for an anvil you like gets you in the game then it's worth it. you aren't going to wear it out and it will be worth as much or more when you have to sell it.
tell your wife it's like money in the bank.
