Uri Hofi uses an anvil of his own design.  I think Tom Clarke casts them.

Yours for only $2k.

$3/lb for a used anvil is not  great bargain unless it's in very nice 
condition.  Out here in the Southwest where anvils are hard to come by we 
pay around $3/lb.
