La Crosse is a town on the Miss. river. It was named after a game Indians
were seen playing there when the whites moved in. The game resembled the
game of La crosse and hence the name.
The Univ. of Wis. has a branch in La Crosse and Bill Fiorini is ,I believe,
the head of the Art Dept. at the Univ.
Beautiful city!
