The last 32 oz sheet I bought was $4.00Cdn about $2.50 US Prices seem to move up and down anywhere from $3.00-$4.00cdn a lb. I buy most of my copper for $1.00 a lb or 0.62 US, The guys at my scrap yard save the good (new) or or that ever is on my wish list. I have one scrap yard that I use all the time and I try to treat them right, at first they came across as meaner than a junk yard dog, but I kept at it and we are now best of friends. When I take in my few hundred pounds of scrap iron, I through the money into their coffee fund. Peter, a piece of your work will open a lot of doors if given as a token of appeciation. Once in awhile I do have to buy new but for small runs it is often from the copper I buy at the scrap yard. The other thing I like about scrap is I see a piece and come up with an idea that may never be seen if I was just looking at a 3'x8' sheet.
regards Daryl
