[TheForge] gas forge

I wouldn't say that I am dead set on purchasing a gas forge, rather that I
was of the opinion that building my own might prove to be a bit too tricky
for a novice. After looking at Dan Scheid's water heater forge and visiting
Ron Reil's vast web site I may reconsider. I was emailed privately by a
fellow offering complete parts kits that appear to make things a bit more
simple. I'll study on it a bit and may just give it a try. I have an old
pressure tank in my scrap heap that might make a good shell.
As Ron points out on one of his pages, pride of ownership in a well-built
tool and the ability to modify or work on equipment built by oneself are
definite plusses.
Thanks for the input.

Unless one is dead set upon buying a forge, you might consider building one
such as Ron Reils "Freon Tank Mini Forge"
